Collaborations
Music fosters collaboration. We are fortunate to be able to work with visionaries and industry giants to create expressive, inspiring virtual instruments and sample libraries.
Benjamin Wallfisch
Working across genres and disciplines, Benjamin Wallfisch made a name for himself as a multi award-winning composer with over 100 credits to his name. We collaborated with him for two strings collections that set new standards in realism and expression.
Tom Holkenborg
In the world of film composers, Tom Holkenborg (who formerly went by the moniker Junkie XL) is known for blockbuster sound. We worked with him to capture his signature superhero brass and percussion sounds.
Richard Harvey
In addition to being a sought-after composer and multi-instrumentalist, Richard Harvey is an avid instrument collector. He has over 700 instruments from all around the world alongside a passion for sharing their unique sounds.
Peteris Vasks
In 2023, we worked with legendary Latvian composer Peteris Vasks to create a collection of chamber strings and first chairs inspired by his piece Voices. In addition to standard articulations, the collection includes 'gestures'—special playing techniques either pioneered by Vasks or inspired by his work.
Harry Gregson-Williams
While composing for Disney’s live-action Mulan, Harry Gregson-Williams worked with us and Richard Harvey to create a sample library that could conjure elements of ancient China within a powerful contemporary score.
Bleeding Fingers Music
Bleeding Fingers Music approached us to create Grimm, a collection of experimental medieval textures. Our in-house audio experts worked closely with Adam Lukas and Jacob Shea to develop its signature sound.
Jeff Russo
Jeff Russo commissioned us to create Modus for his work on Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Picard. It's a set of tensions, transitions, tricks, and timesavers designed specifically for scoring to picture.
Alexander Hacke
Best known for his music with Einstürzende Neubauten and hackedipicciotto, experimental guitarist Alexander Hacke collaborated with us on Drones—the loudest collection ever recorded in Teldex studios.
Dominik Eulberg
Electronic musician and conservationist Dominik Eulberg teamed up with us to create a wide selection of hybrid orchestral/synthesizer sounds inspired by natural landscapes.
Aleksey Igudesman
We joined forces with mischievous innovator and renegade virtuoso Aleksey Igudesman to capture an unconventional and experimental violin collection.
