Dystopian percussion textures
Organic, evolving percussive soundscapes combining textures, rhythms, and resonances.
Built with a balanced fusion of controlled chaos and engineered entropy, Illuvia is ideal for any musical setting that needs a dystopian edge: Maybe there's an ominous stormcloud approaching, or a rusty can that's clattering through a post-apocalyptic roadscape.
The skilled percussionists employed unusual playing techniques using brushes, bows, mallets, kitchen utensils, and power tools to create almost one hundred evolving percussion performances. These are available in multiple dynamic layers, and stretched out to be used at different pitches—a seismic, skittering percussion set for whenever the apocalypse beckons.
