Contemporary verrophone
An extremely rare instrument with spooky sustains, crystalline percussion, and shifting, spherical chords.
A verrophone is an array of long glass tubes arranged chromatically. You play it with a special mallet, or by rubbing the end of the tubes with a wet finger, like you would with a wine glass.
The otherworldly, yet organic sound of Maenad is perfect for melodic lines, pads and chords, and rhythmic tuned percussion.
