Ensemble of the week: Velvet Noir
Tiko Lasola, also known as Pianodiary, curated this ensemble of instruments perfect for making themes for Lynchian gumshoes or vintage intrigue. The Snare Drums from Berlin Percussion and Upright Bass from LA Sessions are the foundation upon which to orchestrate sweet horn chords using the Trumpets a3 from Beaufort and Trombone Ensemble from Berlin Brass. The melodic wail of the Red Tenor from Duplex Saxophones ties it all together.
