The Orchestral Grands
Two legendary grand pianos: the Steinway D and the Steinway B.
As with all our collections, we strove to best capture the unique acoustics of the Teldex Scoring Stage in Berlin;
from its glorious depths to its shimmering heights.
These instruments were painstakingly positioned for orchestral use when recorded, which makes The Orchestral Grands collection just the thing for adding new layers of colour to your symphonic compositions.
The numerous sustain and staccato round robins contained in this collection will allow you to create more realistic rhythmic,
percussive and repetitive passages.

Choose between the room mics (a Decca tree with M50s), mid mics and very intimate close mics to integrate The Orchestral Grands seamlessly into your orchestral setting. The Sustaining Grand provides a single close mic position.
