Harry Gregson-Williams on writing the score for Mulan with Phoenix Orchestra
In this video interview, acclaimed composer Harry Gregson-Williams (Shrek franchise, The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Martian, Disney’s Mulan, Metal Gear Solid game series) takes us into his studio for an in-depth talk about writing the score for Disney's live-action Mulan movie.
As well as demonstrating how the main theme started out on piano, he talks about how the instruments we created for him in Phoenix Orchestra helped inspire his vision of a moving and emotional score for Mulan.
